Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients

  • 500g Grated Carrots

  • 2 tablespoons ghee or clarified butter

  • 400ml almond milk or regular milk

  • 1/4 cup (85g) Switten 1:1 Zero Calorie Sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios

Preparation
 

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat.

  2. Add grated carrots and stir well. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are soft and cooked through.

  3. Add almond milk and cook for another 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. Add Switten 1:1 Zero calorie Sugar and mix well.

  5. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.

  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

  7. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped nuts.

  8. Serve warm or chilled.
