No Sugar Kheer
Ingredients:

1 cup rice
-
1 liter Almond Milk /normal Milk
-
1/4 cup(85g) Switten 1:1 zero calorie sugar

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
-
1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)

1 tablespoon ghee or clarified butter
Preparation

Rinse rice in cold water and drain. Soak rice in enough water to cover it for 30 minutes.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat.

Add the soaked rice and stir well. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the rice turns slightly golden.

Add almond milk and stir well. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and cook for 20-25 minutes until the rice is fully cooked and the mixture thickens.

Add zero calorie sugar alternative and cardamom powder. Stir well and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let the kheer cool to room temperature.

Garnish with chopped nuts and serve chilled.
